How Anchor Institutions are Adopting a Social Determinants of Health Lens

The webinar follows the publication of a paper produced by the Anchor Institutions Task Force Health Professionals Subgroup titled Value Added: Adopting a Social Determinants of Health Lens. It will present two case studies featured in the paper: The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Through the webinar series, participants will gain a deeper understanding of strategies that these institutions have employed to address social determinants of health, challenges and successes that they have experienced, and metrics that they are using to measure success.
