The Joint Center for Housing Studies will mark the 30th anniversary of The State of the Nation's Housing report, which describes key trends in both national and metro-level homeownership and rental markets, and reviews key economic and demographic trends that are shaping current and future demand in those markets. It will feature a panel conversation with Alana Samuels, a staff writer for The Atlantic; Chris Hervert, the managing director of the Joint Center for Housing Studies; Eric Belsky, director of the division of consumer and community affairs of the Federal Reserve System; Shaun Donovan, the former secretary of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development; and George McCarthy, president and CEO of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.
