During the first panel, “Inspirational Case Studies of Mixed Use Development,” panelists will present visual and anecdotal inspiration of how they are addressing holistic neighborhood development in addition to building affordable housing. Areas of exploration will include: retail development, charter schools, and much more. The second panel, “Financing Mixed Use Development: The Technical Discussion,” will dive into the technical aspects of financing mixed-use projects with bonds, tax credits and other creative financing vehicles. These panelists will describe the tools and solutions needed to address these issues.
