Homebuyer Selection and Fair Housing Considerations

This course will examine best practices in mitigating housing displacement in changing neighborhoods, as programs and policies seek to connect homebuyers with openings that arise in affordable housing. Learn about the programmatic policies and practices that can improve the way that your program and local policies work with local homebuyers. Topics will include marketing, homebuyer eligibility criteria, partnerships, and homebuyer selection, including preference policies. This course is intended for policymakers, municipal program staff, and nonprofit program staff.
