Join researchers and practitioners for an interactive, multidisciplinary event, hosted by the Urban Institute and Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, that aims to identify critical information gaps in our understanding of nonprofit-sector regulation and to develop proposals for filling those gaps. The resulting proposals will form the basis of a public research agenda that encourages collaborative efforts to address the gaps. We encourage scholars, both seasoned and new, as well as practitioners, regulators, and funders, to register. The event will begin with a panel discussion, followed by two breakout sessions designed to develop research questions that will help inform the next iteration of regulation and policy affecting charitable activity.
