The Urban Institute and CoreLogic will host a daylong symposium exploring emerging housing policy issues, including the economic outlook for multifamily and single-family market growth, how housing finance can contribute to opportunity-rich and fully inclusive communities, single-family mortgage market evolution and regulatory transformation, and the impact of technological innovation. Ed Glaeser of Harvard University will deliver the opening keynote address, discussing the influence of urbanization, technological advancement, and the role of government on housing supply, urban growth, and neighborhood choice. Bill Emerson (Quicken Loans), Frank Nothaft (CoreLogic), Ted Tozer (Ginnie Mae), and Sarah Rosen Wartell (Urban Institute) will also be featured speakers and panelists at the event.
